It is often assumed that failure is a deterrent to achievement. Rather, failure should be seen as a motivator for a person to keep trying until the objective or aim of a particular mission is fulfilled. Failure often times leads a person to feel helpless, disappointed and depressed. However,one should not allow this to set them back in trying to achieve the ultimate aim one has set out to do. Another disadvantage of being an only is that he lacks companionship. He has no brother or sister to confide in. Growing up as an only child can be very lonely. If you have siblings you will have to share everything, so you get less; but you also get less of the bad things. Siblings can support and comfort each in times of trouble. The elder siblings learn to care for the younger ones and the younger ones learn to respect their elder siblings and have someone to look up to besides their parents. You are more balanced person than an only child. Another advantage of having siblings is that your parents' attention is divided among your siblings. As a result, there is less pressure on you to perform well, be it academically or in other areas. Having siblings also means that you have companionship, the joy of caring and sharing, and security. I, personally, am happy that I am not an only child.

Memorials are meant to be striking in the sense that you will notice said memorial and donate some attention to it. For example, on page 60, templates are provided for disagreeing with an argument and using reasoning. During this course I have learned there is in fact a great deal to writing. Throughout my lifetime I have had to write numerous amounts of essays and papers for various subjects, all requiring different styles and techniques. Before engulfing myself into the writing process I would try and think of whom I am writing to and what I am writing about. I always just assumed I was writing for my audience, that being my teacher. Writing an argumentative research paper is something I had yet to accomplish in my college career. Not only was it thought provoking but this paper challenged me in many ways, such as, knowing who I should be directing throughout the essay to as well as the simple steps of organizing my thoughts and ideas. While writing for academic reasons I would always write for the grade, not for the purpose to write and truly convince the reader that what I am writing about is in fact important. However, many people have overestimated and reacted to ethical and safety concerns associated with this new technology.

People who follow this diet refuse to consume meat or other animal products, including eggs and dairy. Veganism is becoming more and more popular for a number of reasons. Parents often wonder how to start off their children's education. Depending on ones religion or beliefs a private or public school is a choice most parents face. Of course, each school offers it's own pros and con's the choice is simple. Public schools offer the best well rounding of a student.

These classes allow students to pursue a career from the knowledge they have obtained. For example, one might take a business class, which could lead to a career in the business industry. On the other hand, in Private schools they only provide the necessary classes required by the state. Unlike Public schools these classes have been offered since fifth or sixth grade and up. Lives of human and animal species have been negatively affected since then, with events such as natural disasters, the melting of ice in polar regions, and change in weather and living conditions. Introduction In the modern world of technology, we as humans have become very dependent on our electronic devices. The minute we wake up in the morning using our cell phone as an alarm clock and quickly check the weather before getting dressed. How would you feel if you had to go into hiding for 2 years? Anne Frank had to go into hiding with her family, the Van Daan family, and Mr. Dussel. They all were in a small annex above Mr. Frank's old business. As you can imagine there were a lot of fighting and at the end Anne still said "In spite of everything, I still believe people are really good at heart." I agree with Anne because everything they all went through in 2 years: people stealing food, fighting almost everyday, and families almost getting thrown out of the annex, she still believed that people were good at heart. The reason I agree with Anne is that she was trying to change even though people were mean. At least she was trying to fix her attitude unlike others. Although I can see why other people would argue that some people are bad at heart, because Mr. Van Daan and his selfishness, and greediness. Parental involvement in education is a vital essential for creating a cooperative environment for the student to thrive and succeed in. When a student knows that he or she is receiving support both inside and outside the school, the chances of that child becoming responsible for and active in their education are more likely. I know that there can be difficulties including parents for many reasons. Such parents may be too busy, uninterested or just feel helpless. However, as an educator, I will still have an obligation to reach out to these parents and assist them.

Once there is a clear and open path for communication, it is important to make the communication meaningful. Often parents aren't involved because they are not aware of ways that they can help. Keeping parents informed of upcoming tests, projects, homework assignments, and areas of study give them some knowledge about what is going on and also makes them feel like they are capable of helping and can be an asset to their child's education. It may also be helpful to suggest ways that parents can aid their child in preparing and studying for tests. Helping parents feel useful creates an essential cooperative learning environment.

It is also important to go beyond parental involvement in your classroom. It is also necessary to help foster a community that supports and is also active in the local schools. There are a variety of methods for accomplishing this goal: ask community leaders to lead projects in the school or come in to talk on career day, or sponsor an ice–cream night at the school and invite all the children, parents, and community members for a social gathering. One of the areas of my writing where I was struggling in using my voice. Granite, there were parts of my essay where I successfully integrated quotes within my voice, but for the most part that was my weakest area. For example of one of my better integrated quotes, in my third paragraph when I say, "Today, consumers rely on social media for everything, whether it is communicating with old friends, finding new friends, shopping, researching, and staying informed with the latest news. Daniel adds that, "'Americans who take part in political activities on social networking sites also tend to be highly active in other areas of political or civic life'" (29), which insinuates that people rely on social media more today than we have in the past". This was one of my better examples because I further explain and analyze the quote in my voice instead of just ending the sentence after the quote. One of my poor examples is, "Many people who suffer from depression care a lot about what others think about them. That is why many of those people tend to turn to social media as an outlet to express their feelings".
